A little while back I contacted the guys from ArtCrank to discuss the possibility of bringing the show to London. They were enthusiastic in their reply and told me it was something they definitely wanted to do. It seems the wheels have been in motion and now is the time for artists to sending in their submissions for the 2010 show. If you are an artist or know an artist with an interest in cycling then you can contact artcranklondon@googlemail.com along with a sample of previous work (bike-related or not). The deadline for this is June 7th 2010.
For those less artistic (including myself) we can look forward to an awesome show and some very cool posters.
Entry into the exhibition will be free and the posters will be priced at a rate where everyone can buy one.
I´ve written about ArtCrank before so I won´t repeat myself but you can see the previous article here.

Nice work Andreas! I’m going to try and get involved as well and I’ll post something on The Daily Crank about Art Crank London today as well hopefully.

Thanks for posting this, Andreas. I’m very excited that ARTCRANK London is moving forward, and can’t wait to see the work for myself.
In addition to the show web site (http://www.artcrankpostershow.com), here are a couple other tidbits to share about the show in the states:

Hi Anna — right now, we’ve got the show scheduled for September 17 and 18 at Look Mum No Hands (http://www.lookmumnohands.com) in London. We haven’t posted the location to the ARTCRANK site yet simply because we’re still in the process of confirming all the details with the gallery. We’ll update the site as soon as we’ve got fixed dates and times:

Thanks for your kind words about the show. I’m fairly ecstatic about bringing ARTCRANK to London and seeing what the artists there come up with.
