It’s competition week here on London Cyclist! We’ve teamed up with the Norfolk Broads holidaymaker Richardson’s Boating Holidays, to offer readers the chance to win three Laser lane bike lights. The Norfolk Broads and surrounding area are a haven for nature lovers and attract fervent cyclists keen to explore the Broads after they have moored up.
Entering the competition is easy. Simply, answer the below question in the comments:
What is your favourite place to cycle in the UK when you are not pedalling around London?
By entering you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions of the competition. Competition closes on the 9th of November and the three winners will be announced right here!
Our winners are: S popple, Victoria and Maria Gilbert. All three have been contacted and if no reply is received within a reasonable time frame we’ll be picking another winner.

Oh I do love to cycle around the roads close to the Norfolk Broads after I’ve moored up the boat that I’ve hired from Richardson’s Boating Holidays 😉
I love cycling in the Yorkshire dales, around Ilkley Moor.
Cycle Route 1 in Kent from Dover to Canterbury.
Ride starts out with a nice climb up out of Dover to the top of the White cliffs and past Dover Castle, then follows the coast line to Sandwich where it turns inland for a ride along hedge lined country lanes past orchards and fields.
I spent August Bank Holiday last year cycling with a friend around the Lake District and I fell in love with the place. Hauling a fully loaded bike up the Kirkstone Pass was more fun than it ever sounds/looks as well!
Chris stole my thunder – of course it’s Lake District! Whether cycling or mountain biking the Lakes has it all.
As much as I enjoy my commute in to Leeds from Dewsbury along the A653, I’d probably rather be cycling around the roads back home on the beautiful Isle of Wight!
Afan Forest is quite cool for MTB.
Definitely The Chilterns 🙂
Epping Forest in the autumn 🙂

Ladybower reservoir near Sheffield for some off road fun.
