When you are out riding your bike you tend to need quick access to a few key bits. Such as money, sunglasses multitool, mobile and keys. The Tri Bag mounts quickly to the handlebars so you can easily reach what you need.
The bag is reasonably priced at £15.92 on Amazon. At that price a waterproof rain cover is included along with waterproofed inner lining. This makes it suitable even when the weather decides to work against you. In practise this rain protection works really well.
I originally purchased one to house the ever useful Veho Pebble which is linked to my iPhone bike mount to charge up my iPhone if I’m using it to follow a long ride. However, I’ve since found it useful in many other occasions. In particular, recently I’ve been adding turn-by-turn directions to the London Cycle Routes eBook and inside the bag I’ve had my microphone for recording directions.
For those who prefer riding without a backpack and don’t want too much gear filling up their pockets, then again the Topeak Tri Bag will be a useful accessory to have.
Thanks to the small form of the Tri Bag, it fits unobtrusively to the top tube and stem. This means it won’t get in the way as you are pedalling.
The straps can be adjusted to fit thicker frames such as the ones you typically see on mountain bikes.
Overall, you’ll find many little uses for the Topeak Tri Bag and thanks to the weather proofing you’ll be able to use it all year round.
Available from Amazon.co.uk for £15.92.

Been looking at reviews, bit conflicting about how much kit you can put in it, one even said a set of keys wouldn’t fit.
Could you take some photos, showing it in actual use?

Had one of these bags for about 18 months and I think it’s fantastic. For commuting in the week I find it’s the perfect size to hold my phone (HTC Desire HD) wallet and work pass, really easy to fit and as you say will fit most frames. I don’t have the one with the waterproof cover, but find a small plastic bag works just as well to keep things dry.
This combined with a saddle bag to hold spare tube, tools and you’re all set for longer weekend rides.

Got one of these on each of my bikes. They work great. I generally keep wallet, keys, phone in it.

I’ve had the cheaper version of this (without the waterproof cover) for a couple years; it’s been great and is still going strong! Can easily fit my iPhone, a few keys and some money 🙂

Got one of these, pretty good, been using three years. Only problem is velcro on handle bar stem can’t be secured tight enough, have to tie in a knot. If that was fixed I’d give 5*’s.

Might have to get one of these… looks pretty handy!

That’s really neat the way it fits in behind the stem
